No, every piece displayed here is an original creation handcrafted by applied artist Rózsa Guba over the past 40 years. She individually designed and crafted all the bodies, faces, period-accurate garments, and miniature accessories.

No. Each figure started as a flat piece of fabric—containing no porcelain, plastic, or prefabricated elements. The artist incorporates 200-year-old laces and vintage fabrics aged 50 to 100 years into her work. The faces are also sculpted entirely from textiles using silk georgette, advanced textile sculpting techniques, and meticulous hand-painting with sub-millimeter precision.

While certain complex figures can take up to six months to complete, the average creation time for a finished piece is around two months.

Yes! A new collection full of fresh ideas is currently in progress. It will soon replace a portion of the current exhibition material.

The exhibition takes you on a journey through fashion history (from antiquity to modern ripped jeans), featuring elaborate corsets, hats, and hoop skirts. Anyone who appreciates 19th and 20th-century fashion will love admiring the details.

You will also find a nostalgic 1960s wedding scene inspired by the artist's personal memories, traditional Hungarian folk attire and customs, lesser-known European folk costumes, and figures of famous historical personalities. With over 200 figures and scenes, finding the characters brought to life in their original environments via AI is a favorite activity, especially among grandmothers and grandchildren!

Please refrain from touching the main displays. It's not out of selfishness, but natural skin oils can damage delicate, irreplaceable vintage fabrics over time.

However, we do have dedicated tactile figures and authentic demonstration props that our staff can gladly hand to you during your visit.

Yes! Our friendly staff love sharing stories about the exhibition and the artist upon request—completely free of charge.

We also offer exclusive guided tours by the artist, Rózsa Guba herself, for a nominal fee of 5,000 HUF per group (regardless of size, from 1 to 50 visitors). To book an artist-led tour, please call us in advance at +36 70 6314-220 so we can ensure the artist's availability.

The exhibition is currently open continuously in Budapest. Any schedule updates or changes will be announced on this official website 20–30 days in advance.

Although we receive many requests from other cities, Budapest remains our main operational focus for now. However, we welcome all proposals and venue inquiries via our contact details!
